TOday!

Today, I watch Boltz 3d at GV! Its not too bad, but not as good as I expected. Cause I went to popular Imax theatre before and it was amazing. But overall, its still good la. HAHA. Then at night, went to prayer meeting. Hmm, it was great too. I shall go to prayer meeting every tuesday from now! haha.

2009 first blog.

Stopped blogging for quite some time. (reason : LAZY) hahaha. This year, I will be the Tuan Zhang for Mac YF le. Launching Mac-Score needs lots of planning and preparations. And Deacon Yong Chin's expecting high standards, so no more slipshod work! I will put my heart and soul into the Mac YF! And this is my repeat year in JC, wa |stresss|---> ( new classmates,first time retain x.x and need to meet YC to discuss YF things ) haha. Hmm, tidied up my room on the 1st of Jan! its the first time I so hardworking sia! work overnight for the new look in my room. Liked it alot. Next aim is to get rid of my current wardrobe and look out for ikea promotion wardrobes! :D

Daily Devotion: I've experienced alot of blessings recently. God really is a merciful and graceful God! Even though my results last year was a total disgrace to His name, He continued to bless me and protect me. I'm really greatful to Him. In this verses, the story of Abraham , the father of faith, is being written down. When Abraham went to Egypt with his wife Sarah because there was serious famine everywhere. Sarah was very pretty and Abraham was afraid that they will kill him and take Sarah as wife by force, so he told Sarah to act like his sister. So the Pharoah summoned for Sarah and wanted to take her as wife because he thinks that she is Abraham's sister. Then God sent plagues to pharoah and he realised his mistake. So he gave gold and cattle and livestock and lots of things to Abraham and sent him off. Sometimes, we may encounter troubles. However, if we fully trust in the Lord and gains His favour, nothing will be able to harm us. We will stand to gain no matter what. Let us count our blessings and always give thanks to the Lord! :D

Went to M'sia with zhou elvin sis zhihao and my mom. Went to JB City square. Bought a shirt, a pair of bermudas and a Ps2 game(spoiled !!!! Waste mi money!! X.X ) Lol. Bought 2 slices of secret recipe cakes! ate some nice foods. Thats all! haha.

Daily Devotion: Yoru relationship with God can encourage others. God uses your love and faithfulness to him to help others do the same. I cooked at home today! Scared me sia. I cook porridge never close fire cos i wan to slowly cook the porridge. Then my mom suddenly come home when i go out buy some groceries. Fortunately i gt back in time to close the fire. lawls. If not i GG. Forever no nid touch stove! HAHA!

Bible Verse: Titus 3 : 1 - 15

Daily Devotion: God provided us with so much things in our life. The air we breathe, the earth we live in and even a chance for us to live. But are we showing gratitude to Him? Or are we acting like spoiled children, being ingrates to God's gratitude? Many of us live our lives like a spoiled child,asking and taking without really thinking about all that we have recieved. Read Titus 3 : 4 - 7 and think about Go'd generosity in your life. Spend some time in prayer, thanking God for the things in your life.

"But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life." Today was a quite fully utilised day! haha. Morning go to CO till evening. Then go home bath le go tao yong act soldier. lol. I learnt how to play the whole syf set piece! :D

Bible verse: Titus 2 : 1 - 15

Daily Devotion: Titus 2 talks about all types of people in a church. The older man, older woman, young men and also slaves. It teaches us how we should lead our life. After studying the things we have to do, it all boils down to one important key point. Our actions, must bring glory to the Lord and be good testimony. This is so that we can fulfill the Great Commission that our Lord Jesus Christ has instructed us to do! 

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good." Titus 2 : 11 - 14

Today! Sunday! today's message is by Preacher Yang. Gospel message. It was very good. Then he talked about the example he always use. If there is a chair here, when you sit on it, there will be a projection on the wall, showing all the things you've done in your life, all your thoughts and everything about you. Will you dare to sit on it? I don't. We all have secrets we do not wish to let others noe, things we're ashamed of. After that, it was bible study. Uncle Philip talked about the doctrine of the perserverance of the saint. Once we are saved, we will always be saved. This was the question that was on my mind, for I always fear that I will give in to persecution. Now, there is really no reason why a Christian should not rejoice always.

Bible Verse: Titus 1 : 5 - 16

Daily Devotion: What would you say about 1. A marriage counselor who has  been divorced three times? 2. A money manager/financial "expert" who files for bankruptcy? 3. An aerobics instructor who is at least 30 pounds overweight?

Would you view those people with honor and respect? would you consult them for advice? Not likely. We have a label for people who say one thing and do another. And just what is our term for people who do not practice what they preach? HYPOCRITE. Hypocrisy is always ugly, but nowhere is it more destructive than in the lives of people who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ! The apostle Paul told Titus, a pastor on the island of Crete, to be on the lookout for those who " claim to know God, but.... deny Him by what they do." In other words, Paul was saying, " It isn't enough for a person to just talk about God; he or she must also walk with God." Since actions speak loouder than words, our behavior must match our beliefs. other wise people will see the inconsistencies, label us hypocrites, and conclude , "If that's what a Christian is, then I won't want to have anything to do with Christianity!"

 Consider sitting down with a close friend today and talk about your lives. Examine yourselves for instances of hypocrisy. It is better not to claim to be a Christian at all, than to profess belief in Christ and then behave like an unbeliever.

"They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good." Titus 1 : 16

12th Post!

Today was parent's day seminar at East point green! Haha. It was quite cool. The speaker was funny and entertaining. Well down mcyf :D  Oh ya! another thing! today, i heard from elvin, about yy knocking a girl down at east point! it's sooooooooo funny! lol. Elvin dam bad, say wat yy is hulk because she wearing green. Then i heard the incident, i laugh until wanto pengz. Cos last time yy oso at eastpoint there, frightened another kiddo. Attention east point kids! yy is on the loose xP Just Kidding! haha. YY is a nice and responsible sister. Hope I can work well with her to bring macyf to greater heights! :D

Bible verse: 2 Timothy 3 : 16 - 17

Daily Devotion: The Swiss Army Knife has all sorts of little gadgets in it. It has scissors, screwdrivers, blades, and even a small saw! Carrying one of this knives can equip you to survive man of life's common problems. In a greater way, the word of God equips you to triumph over life 's tests and problems. The next time you're faced with one of life's problems, use the tool that God has given us.
